Information about Regular Practices:

MONDAY to SATURDAY practices are team SURVIVEOARS.

SUNDAY practice is team ADVENTURERS.

GUESTS ARE WELCOME AT ALL PRACTICES.

Training

Training sessions provide coaching on the technical aspects of the stroke and drills to reinforce proper technique while building endurance. Coaches help paddlers learn and then refine their stroke. Training sessions are for ALL levels, all genders. These practices will focus on safety, building strength, stretching your cardio and working on stroke technique. Sessions usually last about one hour.

Race

During race season, some sessions might be designated ‘race’ sessions. In addition to training to reinforce proper technique and build endurance, race strategy is reviewed and practice race runs are conducted. These sessions are open to everyone, including guest paddlers.
