Central Coast SurviveOars

CENTRAL COAST SURVIVEOARS

Central Coast SurviveOars is the founding team of the nonprofit CCDBA, and has more than 140 registered paddlers! The team started in 2007 with a small group of breast cancer survivors. The team now includes survivors of all cancers, and also supporters; all genders, ages and walks of life. Paddlers come out for a variety of reasons: camaraderie, exercise, to enjoy the bay, and for the thrill of competition. Everyone is welcome: recreational paddlers, competitive paddlers, you! The team currently has 7 practice times throughout the week.

CENTRAL COAST ADVENTURERS

Central Coast Adventurers formed in 2023. The team is open to Cal Poly State University and Cuesta College students, faculty, staff and alumni. The team’s goals are to have fun, train for competition, and promote the sport of dragon boat racing on both campuses. The team’s regular practice time is Sunday from 9 am to 10 am.
